21st June 2002 - Research for Marketing Decisions

Yesterday I finished reading "Research for Marketing Decisions" by Paul E. Green and Donald S. Tull. It took me a while longer reading than first anticipated since there are many detailed formulas and explanations in the book.

Compared to "Business Research Methods" by D. Cooper and P. Schindler, this book offers much more detail in the art of conducting research with a marketing focus. With regards to investigating correlations it is more detailed, and additionally it covers fields like forecasting and Bayesian decision approaches. A very good and thorough book on the subject, however a book that in my opinion is easier read if one has prior knowledge about the challenges of analytics and forecasting.
